The Analyst I, Human Resources role provides administrative support to a team of HR Business Partners. This includes recordkeeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This role is also responsible for performing various HR-related duties related to performance management, training, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, employment law compliance and HR special projects.

  • Works collaboratively to support HR programs/initiatives including yearly appraisals, salary planning, employee engagement activities, talent acquisition, talent management and various business line projects.
  • Assist in talent acquisition efforts processes and logistics: Sourcing, screening and hiring for US employees located in the US and Mexico.
  • Coordinates the pre-onboarding, onboarding and offboarding processes and logistics.
  • Pre-onboarding and onboarding: Works in close partnership with Talent Acquisition, IT (including requesting access to platforms: Ariba, Jira SAP etc.).
  • Facilities and Security to ensure that new employees have everything they need to quickly and smoothly transition to working at Aquanima.
  • Coordinates new hires first week agenda including scheduling.
  • Offboarding: Assist managers with exiting team member's return of equipment and Aquanima assets and conduct exit interviews.                 
  • Coordinates Aquanima Language Learning program - Duolingo:
    • Set weekly classroom assignments
    • Sends out quarterly enrollment announcements
    • Host Q&A session at start of quarter for interested participants
    • Maintain Training Log with attendance information and Language Learning statistics 
  • Responsible for day-to-day administrative support of the HR Department.
  • Functions as a liaison with HR centers of expertise such as benefits, compensation, and payroll.          
  • Support the employee engagement committee (EEC) in all activities - Co-facilitator role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Business Administration or other equivalent field. 
  • 3-5 years Human Resources or equivalent role.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.   
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization, mindful of the culture and diversity of the audience.                                   
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.                                       
  • Ability to work well in a high volume, fast-paced environment.                                  
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work on a team or individually .                              
  • bility to problem solve and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.                                       
  • Ability to work independently on matters within the position.                                     
  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws and regulations.                                 
  • Demonstrated use of analytical skills – both using tools (ex. Excel, Business Objects, etc.) and problem solving/critical thinking skills.                                     
  • Have a “customer service” orientation with ability to escalate issues when appropriate.                 
  • Solid verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills.                                       
  • Technology savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.                                  
  • Strong organization and project management skills.                                        
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday and ADP is highly valued.   
  • English and Spanish required.
