Description

The Product Operations Associate is responsible for testing and release planning and execution, deployment support (business validation and post deployment monitoring) for small enhancements and initiatives resolving “technical debt” (obsolescence, infrastructure maintenance, etc.) Supports internal Risk Governance routines (lead on Exams, Audits & Control Testing), Third Party Risk Management activities, Issue Management (Action Drivers and Mitigation Action Plans), Risks & Controls Self Assessments. Acts as Service Manager for third-party solutions integrated into Consumer and Small Business digital channels, including monthly Service Level Assessments and Transaction Monitoring. Maintains internal Procedures and ensures compliance by Product and Channel Managers.

  • Works with the Product and Channel Managers and Technology partners on implementation planning and execution of small enhancement initiatives.
  • Combines knowledge of channel features and internal processes to prioritize and align BAU initiatives with channel roadmaps.
  • Works with the Product Owners and delivery teams to coordinate development, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Digital products
  • Ensures adherence to internal risk governance routines.
  • Liaises with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure approvals for customer-facing changes.
  • Actively manage production incidents, working with technology partners on resolution and deployment of fixes.
  • Participates in both Agile and Waterfall development routines.
  • Coordinates with LOB partners, ensuring front-line and back-office readiness for changes/initiatives.
  • Works with the product and channel managers and to update functional documentation as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or higher Business or Technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management and/or Digital Operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Agile and waterfall development methodologies.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and outside vendors.
  • 3-5 years of experience Third Party & Risk Management.
  • Verbal & written communication of projects, risks, roadmap & product vision.
  • Analytical, using data to drive decision and resolution; Define and manage owned KPIs, and lead deep-dives.
  • Collaboration - internally and cross-functionally; Prioritization & delegation (i.e. ability to scale expertise), problem solving.
  • Leadership & Influence - managing people beyond team; influencing others with effective negotiation strategies.
  • Solid understanding of waterfall and agile development principles.
  • Understanding of User Experience.
  • Vendor & Risk Management.
